Pedagogy is the way in which teachers teach and learners learn in harmony with the ethos of the school

The iBacc Pedagogy provides the practical means for student development in everyday teaching and learning in and beyond school

Pedagogy means how teachers teach practical lifelong learning habits. Learning habits are applied to every lesson via Split Screen Teaching. In each lesson teachers always have a disciplinary learning objective depending on the subject and one or more relevant learning habit concerning Realising purpose, being Resourceful, Recollective, Recreational, Resilient, Reflective and Relational.

The iBacc approach to pedagogy was originally developed by the cognitive psychologist Professor Guy Claxton and is called the Learning Powered Approach (LPA) or Building Learning Power. iBacc has extended the Learning Powered Approach and infused it with Islamic values to help build Islamically Learning Powered schools.
