iBacc Transformation

Aims
iBacc Transformation builds on Integration to embed iBacc deeply and evidence its impact over time, so that iBacc becomes part of your school’s ethos, pedagogy and curriculum and its effect on learners is tracked and reviewed across three years.

What’s included

• three years of leadership coaching for your Lead Practitioner, once they hold the Lead iBacc Certificate of Achievement

• formal tracking of iBacc learner outcomes over three years

• periodic school learning reviews

• ten Teach iBacc places for new staff joining over the three years

Where Integration puts iBacc into practice, Transformation makes it stick and shows that it has. You are supported throughout by an iBacc Leadership Coach.

• Leadership coaching for your Lead Practitioner. Once your Lead Practitioner holds the Lead iBacc Certificate of Achievement, they receive three years of ongoing leadership coaching — so the person leading iBacc in your school keeps developing and is not left to sustain it alone.
• Three-year tracking of learner outcomes. iBacc’s own accreditation — the learner awards aligned to Scouting sections, graded exams, formal qualifications and the leadership viva — is tracked across three years, so the effect on your pupils is recorded rather than assumed.
• Periodic school learning reviews. At intervals across the three years, your iBacc Leadership Coach carries out a learning review confirming that iBacc is genuinely embedded in your ethos, pedagogy and curriculum, and agreeing where to strengthen it.
• Ten Teach iBacc places for new staff. Ten places on Teach iBacc are included for staff who join during the three years, so new colleagues are trained into iBacc and the practice does not thin out as your staff changes.

Who it’s for
UK schools that want iBacc fully embedded and its impact evidenced over time, not only adopted: state-maintained community schools and academies with high Muslim populations, and independent schools with an Islamic ethos. Most schools reach Transformation having first completed Integration.

What the three-year tracking involves
Your iBacc Leadership Coach works with you to record learner outcomes through iBacc’s existing accreditation across three years. This produces evidence of impact you can use for self-evaluation, governors and inspection, without creating a separate assessment burden.

What the learning reviews involve
Periodic reviews across the three years, in which your Coach examines how far iBacc is embedded in ethos, pedagogy and curriculum, confirms what is working, and agrees next steps with your leadership team.

Leadership coaching for your Lead Practitioner
Once your Lead Practitioner holds the Lead iBacc Certificate of Achievement, they receive three years of ongoing leadership coaching to sustain and deepen iBacc across the school. Additional practitioners from your school can enrol on Lead iBacc at a reduced rate of £150 rather than the standard £250.

Teach iBacc places for new staff
Ten Teach iBacc places are included over the three years for staff who join after your initial whole-staff training, keeping new colleagues trained into iBacc as your team changes.

Travel and accommodation for on-site delivery are charged in addition to the package fee. For international schools, these are arranged and provided by the school.
